With EA’s FIFA 20 football title set to launch in September, gamers are wondering if they’ll have a trial version to check out ahead of the full game. While EA has yet to release any official details, some new FIFA 20 demo rumors have arrived. The latest speculation may have revealed which teams will be a part of the demo as well as when it will be released for gamers to check out.
FIFA 20 demo rumors arrive from new screenshot
So where did the FIFA 20 demo rumors come from? A screenshot posted on Reddit may have clued everyone in about the potential release date for the trial version. While the month September has a blurred-out date next to it, it appears to be the 12th. That’s a Thursday, so mark those calendars, as this could be accurate information ahead of EA’s official reveal.
In addition to a large image of Eden Hazard, we also see a few screenshots from the FIFA 20 game. One of those appears to be from the FIFA VOLTA gameplay. However, the other smaller images in the screenshot are what could be the logos for the playable clubs in the FIFA 20 demo.
Based on the team logos shown in the Reddit screenshot, the FIFA 20 demo playable clubs may be:
- Liverpool
- Real Madrid
- Borussia Dortmund
- Manchester City
- PSG
- Roma
- Atletico Madrid
- Club America
- LAFC
- Vissel Kobe
The FIFA 19 demo included Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester City, FC Bayern Munich, and Manchester United, amongst the playable teams. Last year’s demo officially launched on September 13, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PCs.
It makes sense that September 12 would be the FIFA 20 demo release date as that is about two weeks ahead of the full game’s release. That gives gamers time to test out the gameplay and the developers to tweak or adjust any aspects that need it. The FIFA 20 release date is Friday, September 27, 2019, for the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox, Windows PCs, and Nintendo Switch.
