Madden 20 Trophy Guide: How to Get Trophies & Points in Ultimate Team
In the Madden 20 game, there are several different forms of in-game currency. These include Coins which are the most plentiful and easiest to rack up. There is also Training which comes in handy for upgrading an Ultimate Team’s players. In addition, there are two other currencies which are a bit more difficult to compile in the game. They are the Trophies and Points currencies. In this Madden 20 Trophy guide, we’ll look at how to get trophies in Ultimate Team as well as Points.
Madden 20 Trophy Guide: How to get Trophies in MUT mode
With Coins, there are multiple ways to earn them or have them added to your total in Madden 20. There are more than a few ways to get Training as well, which come a bit easier than Trophies. However, in our Madden 20 Trophy guide, you’ll see it might take a bit more work (or wins) to try to add them to your account. All of the methods to obtain Trophies are available at the “Play” menu area on top of Ultimate Team.
The best way to try to get lots of Trophies in Madden 20 Ultimate Team is by playing the weekly Solo Battles. These are free to enter matchups you’ll play using your Madden Ultimate Team against featured squads. There are normally four featured squads to start. They update every so often, such as every two days. You get to select which difficulty you want to challenge the team on, and the more difficult you choose, the more points you can win.
The more points you achieve by playing and winning the games, the higher you move up in the weekly Solo rankings. As you move up levels, you’ll earn different rewards. For example, you may get 10 Trophies, a certain amount of Coins, and a rewards Pack in Ultimate Team. These are paid into your account usually by Monday or Tuesday of the following week.
Another way to earn Madden 20 Trophies is by participating in the Head 2 Head Season or the Draft feature. It’s a solo or team-up single elimination mode where you participate in a draft to create your best lineup. There is also a head-to-head practice mode you can participate in with a friend there.
You will need to pay Coins to enter this feature, though. Usually, it costs at least 9,000 Coins to enter. However, as you achieve more wins in this mode, you score more rewards. You’ll need at least two wins in the mode to get 10 Trophies. Check out all the Standard Rewards for H2H and Draft below.
One other area to go in Madden Ultimate Team is into the Squads feature. This also can bring in Coins and Trophies depending on how many wins you rack up during Squads season. So, there are a number of ways to achieve Trophies, if you’re willing to put in the grind.
What are Trophies used for in MUT mode?
So what can you buy with Trophies in Madden 20 Ultimate Team? There are some very helpful items in the “Competitive Currency” area of the Store. These include the Wheel of Coins for 10 Trophies. This is a gamble, but it can bring you anywhere from 1,000 to 50,000 Coins.
In addition, there are the following items right now:
- Hail Mary Pack (10 Trophies)
- Midfield Pack or Quicksell (40 Trophies)
- Redzone Pack or Quicksell (90 Trophies)
- Touchdown Pack or Quicksell (220 Trophies)
- Series 1 Competitive Master (2,000 Trophies)
- NAT Series 1 Competitive Master (1,050 Trophies)
- Coach Madden (10 Trophies)
- Coach Madden Collectible (1,000 Trophies)
- 84+ Elite Player (500 Trophies)
Based on the Madden 20 Trophy guide for rewards, there are some great items to use to improve your Ultimate Team. In particular, having the legendary John Madden as your team’s coach can give a nice extra boost to your squad. Alternately, quickselling for Coins is also a great way to increase your in-game spending. It all depends on what you’re trying to achieve with MUT.
How to get Points in Ultimate Team
Unfortunately, there’s really just one way to get Points for Madden 20 Ultimate Team. EA has it set up where gamers will need to spend real money to get these at all. Points are available for purchase in the Madden Ultimate Team Store. Here’s a look at the latest prices through the PlayStation Store. You’ll need to have a payment method attached to your PS Store account to buy.
Points are a way to get certain Packs or other items in the Madden 20 Ultimate Team Store. For example, there is a Legends Fantasy Pack for 1,500 Points or an 8X Legends Fantasy Bundle for 12,000 Points. There are also Team of the Week Packs, Clutch Packs, and individual players available for Points in the store, among other offers.
EA added the Points as a way for gamers to spend within their game rather than grinding it out. However, we recommend trying to stay away from spending extra money outside of the game.
