NBA 2K20 Release Date trailer video

First to get gamers hyped even more, 2K released a brand new NBA 2K20 release date trailer video. They launched the NBA 2K20 Next trailer weeks ago and House of Next trailer a few days ago. Now we have the “Momentous Trailer” featuring all of the biggest stars in the game. This one’s set to the sounds of NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg with “Redlight” as the trailer background music.

We see players getting ready before the game. That includes cover star Anthony Davis in pre-game suit or Jayson Tatum listening to his headphones in the locker room. From there, the trailer launches straight into the excitement of gameplay. There’s one-one-one play from LeBron, Harden, Zion, Kemba, Kawhi, Steph, Giannis, and more. Even the Charlotte Hornets make an appearance. There’s a nice finishing touch featuring a classic moment from Damian Lillard to close things out.

Release date is officially Friday, September 6, 2019. Gamers are already unpacking the game from the box or downloading and launching it on their systems of choice. It’s now available for purchase, download, and install through PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo Store, or Steam for PCs.

Unlock a special Snapchat cover feature

The magic of Snapchat technology is also built into the NBA 2K20 cover. Based on a tweet that arrived on the NBA 2K20 release date, anyone who has the Snapchat app on their mobile phone can use a special Snapcode to bring the cover to life. Check out the tweet below which shows an example of the Snapchat AR and how it brings cover star Anthony Davis into full motion.

To use it, gamers need to have Snapchat on their mobile phone and head over to scan in the special code at the Snap website here. That will unlock the animated cover by using the Snapchat app with it.

It’s another innovation as NBA 2K20 moves forward into the “Next.” They’ve also brought new artists into the game with a special 2K20 soundtrack contest to scout for new music. They’ll be adding their tracks into NBA 2K20 in the coming weeks and months.

NBA 2K also continues to work with new brands to add exclusive items into the game. This year that’ll include a number of different clothing brands in addition to the popular kicks that already help customize MyPlayers or NBA stars. While it may not directly influence gameplay it helps with giving a fresh feel to the game.

All of that adds up to a game that continues to integrate the newest technology, music, and fashion into the basketball title for fans to enjoy. There’s also plenty of basketball to enjoy.

Gamers can now play NBA 2K20 on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs. See more details at the official 2K website.
