While fans may be raring to jump into Borderlands 3 on the 13th of September, that isn’t the only Borderlands release happening this week. In actual fact, a huge new DLC is now available for Borderlands 2 VR. Best of all, it’s available for free. The “Bad Ass Mega Fun” DLC (BAMF for short), brings no fewer than 16 DLC releases from Borderlands 2 to the PlayStation VR title!
The New Borderlands 2 VR BAMF DLC is Now Available
The BAMF DLC was first announced for Borderlands 2 VR during PAX West and includes a huge array of new content for the game’s VR version. Both Gaige the Mechromancer and Krieg the Psycho, the two DLC Vault Hunters, are included with the release; providing PlayStation VR users two new characters to play as. However, those are just two of the sixteen DLC packs included in the BAMF DLC; all of which were originally released separately for Borderlands 2.
The DLC also includes four major campaign DLC packs; Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Also included are all five of the Headhunter DLCs; T.K. Baha’s Blood Harvest, The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler, How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day, Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre, and Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax. VR users also get the Creature Slaughter Dome and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Packs. Plus, the BAMF DLC comes with the various Vault Hunter cosmetics added as DLC to Borderlands 2.
This massive pack is available to download right now, completely free for Borderlands 2 VR on PlayStation VR. While it’s certainly a lot of content to get through in four days, it might sate some fans’ appetite for Borderlands, at least until the release of Borderlands 3.
