Destiny 2: Menagerie Weeks Might Be Coming in Future

Since the start of Seasons in Destiny 2, Bungie has been releasing Double XP/Triple XP for the Crucible Playlist in which players would earn extra Valor. Though, this increase doesn’t affect the competitive side of the Crucible as it would ruin the core purpose of the playlist. Just like that, Bungie is thinking of adding Menagerie weeks in Destiny 2. With the release of Forsaken in Destiny 2, Bungie worked on a brand-new PvP and PvE hybrid mode called Gambit runs by a guy named Drifter. He can be found in the Tower new Ada-1.

Gambit came with its own ranking system called – Infamy. Just like the old Crucible’s Valor and Glory, players would complete matches/bounties, etc to earn Infamy. Since then, Bungie has also released a couple of Infamy Weeks and Weekends for double and triple XP.

Menagerie Weeks Might Be Coming

Destiny 2 Menagerie Weeks

If you don’t know, Destiny 2 community has completed the Community Challenge Mars last week, and for that, Emperor Calus has opened his gates for some extra rewards from the Menagerie upon completion.

DMG04 on Twitter said that just like Valor and Infamy Weeks, they might do Menagerie weeks/weekends. This means all of the weapons’ drop rates would be significantly buffed. Here’s what he said in his tweet, “Extra rewards will be removed at the end of Season of Opulence. We may do Menagerie weeks/weekends, kind of like increased valor/infamy.

Shortly after on Reddit, he said, “valor/infamy usually start double during the week, then go triple from Friday ‘till reset. We now have the ability to do this with Menagerie rewards, so my gut is telling me that we will mirror the infamy/valor boost formula.”

Well, I think it’s a great addition to the game. On top of that, I think adding future (new) weapons to the Menagerie loot pool would help this mode not die out. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in comments.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
