Destiny 2: Take a Look At Shadowkeep’s New Crafting System

Earlier this week, Bungie released yet another ViDoc for the upcoming expansion – Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. Players in the Destiny 2 community have been preparing, hoarding down materials for the new expansion. With Shadowkeep, a lot of things have been changing. Bungie is tweaking Supers inside PvP, weapons are getting some significant changes, and on top of all, Lunafaction Boots and Rally Barricades won’t auto-reload your weapons (rest in peace). With Season of Opulence, we’ve got the Chalice of Opulence to craft our weapons and armor. Well, we’re getting another crafting system in Shadowkeep.

Shadowkeep’s New Crafting System

In the ViDoc, Luke Smith (Game Director at Bungie) talked about how you’ll be able to craft new weapons from The Rune Table that is – Lectern of Enchantment. It seems very similar to the Chalice of Opulence (could be different). But one thing is for sure, we will be getting random rolled weapons from this new crafting system.

“You’re going to learn a bunch of cool stuff about Eris and this Nightmare problem are on the Solar System which you’re going to build a bunch of cool rewards. And then, you know, if you don’t get rolls you that you like, you’re going to go back to the Rune Table – and you’re going to make more. And that’s part of being a Shadowkeep player – building your character your way” – Luke Smith said in the ViDoc.

This Lectern will relate to the Shadowkeep’s new activity – Nightmare Hunt. It looks like there will be Daily and Weekly bounties you can get from this Lectern of Enchantment. In that ViDoc, Bungie also revealed new Nightfall difficulties for the – Nightfall: Ordeal. These difficulties are Adept, Hero, Legend, and Master. Learn everything about these new features here.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
