Months ago, big news arrived that The 9th Wonder of the World Chyna will make her 2K debut as part of the WWE 2K20 roster. On Tuesday, WWE 2K gave gamers a first look at her new entrance video which brings some nice touches with it. Here are more details on Chyna, her WWE 2K20 entrance video, and how to make sure your roster has her playable superstar.
First look at WWE 2K20 entrance for Chyna
The late Joanie Laurer, who went as Chyna within WWE, is well known by man fans as a legend amongst women’s (and men’s) superstars. She was a dominant, feared competitor back in the days when divas were still involved in WWE programming. Chyna not only took her fights to the divas but also male superstars, including Jeff Jarrett, whom she famously defeated for the Intercontinental Championship.
That win made history, making her the first (and only) female superstar to capture the IC title. She’d do that twice during her career and also participate in the Royal Rumble match, paving the way for other women’s superstars to compete in the men’s match.
Of course, she was also aligned famously with the D-Generation X crew. In her new WWE 2K20 entrance video below, fans are able to see Chyna with her gimmick where she fired off pyro ahead of her entrance.
Most fans are loving just the fact that Chyna is back in the game, and possibly headed for the WWE Hall of Fame at next year’s WrestleMania. Some are still disappointed with the likeness, but simply having her back in a WWE game for the first time in nearly 20 years is great.
Chyna appeared in WWF SmackDown!, WWF No Mercy, and WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role all of which arrived in 2000. Either way, this look is an upgrade from those games, some of which are still popular with wrestling game fans.
We’ve seen a number of other entrances including Samoa Joe, Buddy Murphy, and Aleister Black. However, Chyna’s is the first “Legends” or entrance revealed for someone not part of the current roster.
