The launch of Apex Legends Season 3 “Meltdown” does of course mean that players can now buy a new Apex Legends Battle Pass, just as was available for previous seasons. However, players will no doubt notice a few changes (and plenty of new content) this time around. The Battle Pass is available in-game for 950 Apex Coins. Plus, players can buy the Battle Pass Bundle for 2,800 Apex Coins (down from 4,700), unlocking the first 25 levels immediately.
What’s Included in the Season 3 Apex Legends Battle Pass
Introduced as part of Season 2, challenges are now a core part of the Apex Legends Battle Pass; something which remains the case in Season 3. Players can complete daily and weekly challenges in order to progress faster through the reward tiers. Plus, you can go back and retroactively complete any weekly challenges you miss (as long as the Season is still ongoing). As before, several challenges reward +1 full Battle Pass level instead of an XP amount.
When it comes to rewards, the Battle Pass contains crafting materials, Apex Coins, Legendary Items, and plenty more. To start with, anybody who buys the Battle Pass, immediately gets the Reckoner DMR Legendary Longbow skin, as well as three Rare skins; the Arctic Hunter Bloodhound skin, Fired Up Mirage skin, and Weaponised Grace Octane skin. The rest of the reward items are spread across the 100 levels of the Battle Pass. Players will also be able to earn enough crafting materials to craft a Legendary item themselves.
Additionally, Season 3 features new Music Packs, Loading Screens, Skydive Emotes, and even new “Quips”. Players can equip and play these unique character voice lines in-game from a new 9-slot Quip Wheel; allowing players to express themselves in-character during gameplay. Gun Charms are also coming to Apex Legends in Season 3 as a new cosmetic option, and can be added to any of the game’s firearms.
