It’s already Week 3 in terms of EA’s FIFA Ultimate Team’s weekly installment of top players from the pitch. On Wednesday (Oct. 2), they officially unveiled the newest FIFA 20 Team of the Week 3 featuring those footballers who performed best in recent games. Headlining TOTW 3 are Riyad Mahrez, Kai Havertz, and Daley Blind. However, the FIFA community is mostly happy to see another player in the group.
FIFA 20 Team of the Week 3 Starting XI boasts Mahrez, Havertz
Just last week, we saw FIFA TOTW 2 included one of the game’s top stars in Kevin de Bruyne. Unfortunately, there are no players near the rating of the Manchester City star this week. Instead, FIFA 20 Team of the Week 3 provided gamers with two players at 86 overall ratings in Mahrez and Havertz to lead the way.
Riyad Mahrez gets 90 Dribbling, 85 Pace, 82 Passing, and 81 Shooting as part of his upgraded FUT card. Havertz boasts 86 Pace, 85 Dribbling, 82 Passing, and 81 Shooting amongst his best attributes. Joining them are a number of other players ranging from 82 OVR to 85 OVR.
Below is a look at the entire FIFA 20 TOTW 3 Starting XI along with substitute and reserve players.
So far the reaction to the latest Team of the Week 3 has basically been a sigh of disappointment from the community. However, some players are particularly happy with the new Wilfrid Ndidi upgraded card. The Leicester City star’s 84 overall card includes 86 Defense, 85 Physical, and 76 Dribbling.
Gamers are frustrated over some snubs they feel EA made with this new TOTW 3. The community has named stars such as Promes, Manolas, Milinkovic and Tanguy Ndombele. However, Ndombele recently received a FUT Ones to Watch player item in the game which could explain why he isn’t there.
Who are FIFA TOTW Substitutes, Reserves?
While they’re not necessarily the main stars on the pitch, substitutes and reserves can be quite useful. It all depends on who they play for and the type of Ultimate Team one is building. There are seven substitutes and five reserves once again for the FIFA 20 Team of the Week 3, shown in the lists below.

The FIFA 20 Team of the Week 3 players are available in the game starting at 6 p.m. UK time. Once that time arrives, gamers are able to purchase FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) packs in order to try to randomly acquire the players they want. There’s also the Transfer Market which allows for bidding on or buying specific players.
In addition to that, gamers can put their own Ultimate Team up against the new FIFA TOTW 3 to see how they do. There’s the possibility to earn rewards for playing against Team of the Week, so it can help build up one’s funds in FIFA. See more details about Ultimate Team here at EA’s site.
