If you have ever dreamed of the convenience of being able to control your Apple device using a PS4 gamepad, we have some exciting news for you. You are now able to do exactly that. After you update your Apple device, your DualShock 4 controller should work with it.
PS4 Controllers Are Compatible Now With Apple Devices
The DualShock 4 now can be used to game on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac. The following operating systems are supported:
- iOS 13
- iPad OS
- macOS Catalina** (launching in October)
- tv OS 13
Once you have the latest updates installed to your Apple device, you should be able to connect your DualShock 4 and stream PS4 games using the PS4 Remote Play App. You also can use the Apple Arcade subscription service to play even more titles which include MFi controller support.
Sony is aware that quite a few Apple users may not be sure how to get set up with the PS4 controller, and may also have other questions.
