The new WWE 2K20 game is here and includes another large roster full of playable superstars. However, not all of those superstars may be available for those who first get the game, depending on the edition they purchased. There may not be all of the championship belts, certain arenas, and other content included with your version of the game. Luckily, with the WWE 2K20 Accelerator you can unlock almost everything in the game. Here’s how to get that done if you’re new to the 2K series.
First way to unlock superstars, belts, arenas
In WWE 2K20, you can grind away to earn virtual currency in order to buy the extra content you want. For example, there are a lot of WWE Legends superstars you may not have once you load up the game for the first time. Prices of these superstars can vary from 1,000 virtual currency for Bobby “The Brain” Heenan up to 8,000 virtual currency for Goldberg. Some of the others superstars include Vince McMahon, Big Boss Man, Papa Shango, Mark Henry, and different versions of Kurt Angle as “Purchasables.”
Some gamers may not want to go through all the time and effort to get the virtual currency in the game, so that’s why you’ll want the WWE 2K20 Accelerator. It will cost money, but save you a lot of time and give you almost all of the content you might want for the game. We say “almost all” since there are some extras that are included with different WWE 2K20 editions. They include Hulk Hogan and Chyna amongst other superstars.
How to get the WWE 2K20 Accelerator
The WWE 2K20 Accelerator is a bonus item you can purchase if you don’t already have it with your particular version of the game. To do so, you’re going to want to go to the console’s store for your version of the game. So if you have WWE 2K20 on PS4, you’ll go to PlayStation Store. For Xbox One, you’ll go to the Microsoft Store on the console.
The WWE 2K20 Accelerator is priced at $4.99 right now. You can purchase through your game console. Alternately, you can go to an online browser to buy it and then download on your console later. You can get it for Xbox One at Microsoft Store here, or for PlayStation 4 at PlayStation Store here. You’ll need to “Add to Cart” and then check out with a valid payment source to buy the Accelerator.
Once you’ve purchased and have the WWE 2K20 Accelerator, you’ll see a screen confirming it on your game. It will also reveal that all of the “VC Purchasables” are unlocked including Legends, Championships, and Arenas.
In addition, you’ll now have access to Roster Edit abilities in the game. You can edit ratings. Basically, you can now enjoy most of the aspects of the game you didn’t have. By the way, you’ll also get 30,000 VC with your purchase to spend as you like in the 2K20 game.
It’s important to note you won’t have Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend by doing this since he’s part of the 2K Originals Bump in the Night content. See our guide for how to get The Fiend in WWE 2K20.
