WWE 2K20 Originals Release Date for Final Bump in the Night Superstar Pilgrim Rusev, Tower Challenge

This past week, the WWE 2K20 Originals content called Bump in the Night revealed the final unlockable superstar. It’s none other than Rusev but as a pilgrim just in time for Thanksgiving. Here are more details on his new playable character and the tower challenge in the game’s bonus content.

WWE 2K20 Originals Pilgrim Rusev, Survivor Series Tower available

On Friday, Nov. 22, WWE 2K released an image as a promotion of Pilgrim Rusev. That will be the final character that gamers can unlock in the bonus content called WWE 2K20 Originals Bump in the Night. The Reserve Tower becomes available this Sunday in conjunction with WWE’s Survivor Series.

Prior to Rusev, other special versions of playable superstars were made available for Bump in the Night. They included a zombie version of Sasha Banks, a demonic Finn Balor, and The Fiend Bray Wyatt.

Just as with Banks, Balor, and Wyatt, there is a special WWE 2K20 Originals Tower featuring Pilgrim Rusev. Gamers who have the Bump in the Night bonus pack with their WWE 2K20 can launch the game Sunday (Nov. 24) and try to defeat the Rusev Tower. So far, no time has been mentioned for when it is available, but it could be the middle of the day similar to Zombie Sasha Banks.

Doing so will unlock Pilgrim Rusev as a playable superstar in the game. There won’t be a time limit on this particular tower to unlock Pilgrim Rusev, but it goes live on Sunday for gamers to start playing it.

Survivor Series Tower brings gear reward

WWE 2K20 also tweeted out the following message where gamers can defeat a Survivor Series Tower in the game to earn a special piece of bonus gear for their MyPlayers. Here’s a look at the new items that will be available.

Gamers have to defeat the Survivor Series Tower by Sunday, November 24 in order to earn that item. It will then be available for use on MyPlayers and in the main creation suite. So far the reaction to the Pilgrim Rusev and above gear hasn’t been the most receptive, as gamers are hoping for better options from the WWE 2K20 game.

Even so, it gives a sort of Thanksgiving theme to the professional wrestling game to bring in the big holiday.
