Just in time for the Black Friday shopping day comes several exciting new FIFA 20 Ultimate Team player items. On November 29, EA’s FIFA unveiled brand new Flashbacks and Players Moments Squad Building Challenges. Gamers will now be able to acquire upgraded items for Mario Balotelli and Morales through the new challenges. However, the community hasn’t been too receptive to the new items so far.
New Flashbacks player Mario Balotelli in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team
First up, we’ve got a brand new Flashback SBC for Mario Balotelli in Ultimate Team. This card features an 88 overall rating along with 90 Dribbling, 88 Shooting, 87 Pace, and 87 Physical attributes on front.
So far the reaction to this new Balotelli is one of slight disappointment. It’s a nice card, but expensive to acquire. Gamers have also mentioned it would have been a better card for FIFA 19 rather than in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team. Others are questioning why his crossing and balance skills are rated how they are on this new SBC item.
Several YouTube videos dropped which show an example of what it takes to get the new card. Here’s one that shows the cost and sets needed to unlock the SBC for Balotelli.
The above Mario Balotelli card is the latest in the line of Flashback SBCs joining previous releases such as Javier Mascherano among other stars.
New Players Moment SBC Morales in FUT
The other new item is an “El Comandante” Morales Players Moment SBC. The star striker from Spain gets an 85 overall item that includes 94 Pace, 90 Dribbling, and 83 Shooting on the front as some of his best attributes.
This card is also causing many in the FIFA gaming community to scratch their heads. Mostly, they are wondering what the point of the card is, and at least one person on FUTHead wondered if this is merely celebrating the goal he scored against Real Betis last season. Nonetheless, some gamers may use it for chemistry boosts on their FIFA 20 Ultimate Team rosters.
To get the Morales Player Moments or Mario Balotelli Flashback, gamers need to participate in Squad Building Challenges (SBC). They’ll involve putting together specific teams involving players that relate to Balotelli or Morales. Each player will have a listing in Ultimate Team where the various SBC requirements are listed out.
Alternately, both players’ new items will possibly start to show up at the Transfer Market where gamers can bid on or buy them for FIFA 20 Coins currency.
In addition to the above cards, FIFA 20 Ultimate Team also has many of the best Team of the Week selections available for a limited time in packs as part of Black Friday. As shown below that includes stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Eden Hazard, and Kylian Mbappe.
