NBA 2K20 MyTeam Adds New Moments Challenges, Phil Chenier Legacy Showcase Series II Packs
As of Tuesday, December 3, NBA 2K20 MyTeam has revealed the newest headline star for their Legacy Showcase Series II packs with former hoops star Phil Chenier. His high-rated new card leads the way for the packs which also feature an EVO card along with two other limited-time cards. In addition, MyTeam has unveiled brand new Moments Challenges which recognize the NBA Eastern and Western Conference players of the week.
New NBA 2K20 MyTeam Moments Challenges for Melo, Giannis
Just yesterday, we showed off the new NBA 2K2 MyTeam Moments of the Week players. They included a Giannis Antetokounmpo amongst them. The Greek Freak recently received a Player of the Week win in the NBA for the Eastern Conference, while Carmelo Anthony received the Western Conference nod.
Both players now have brand new Moments Challenges available in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. For Melo’s challenge, it requires scoring 30 points with one player in a game versus the Heat Check Bulls. The reward is six Tokens. For Giannis’ challenge, gamers need to use any player to score 29 points in 16 minutes. The reward for doing that is a standard Heat Check pack.
Gamers can find the new Moments Challenges by going to the NBA 2K20 MyTeam mode. From there, navigate to the “Single Player” option up top and then to “Challenges.” Choose “Moments Challenges” and you’ll see a group of different challenges to choose from including Carmelo and Giannis’ new ones.
New Phil Chenier Legacy Showcase series II packs, players
There are also plenty of packs available to purchase in the NBA 2K20 MyTeam Market. Right now, the Prime Series I features Derrick Rose and Spotlight Series II features Dwight Howard. On Tuesday (Dec. 3), MyTeam revealed that there are now Phil Chenier Legacy Showcase Series II packs available. The NBA great headlines the packs with a Pink Diamond card, while there’s also an Evolution card for former star Campy Russell.
Limited Time Cards in Legacy Showcase Series II packs:
- Phil Chenier (Pink Diamond) 97 OVR
- Eddie Johnson (Diamond) 95 OVR
- Campy Russell (Amethyst) 90 OVR
- Robert Horry (Ruby) 89 OVR
The Legacy Showcase Series II packs start at 4,950 Virtual Currency (VC) or 6,000 MyTeam Tokens (MT) for a single pack of five cards. Each pack has one player inside and four other items along with a chance to get the Pink Diamond Phil Chenier. There’s also a 10-pack box for 44,550 VC and a 20-pack box for 89,100 VC.
Gamers can also pick up the various player cards above through the Auctions area. Right now, prices on Phil Chenier’s Pink Diamond are generally in the 100,000 to 188,000 MT range for auction listings on the PS4 version of the game.
