Destiny 2: Xur Will Not Feature Random Roll Exotics In Season Of Dawn
Xur is the Santa Claus of Destiny universe. He comes in every Friday at reset and leaves the on the next weekly reset. Xur brings exotic weapons, armor and one Fated Engram for you to purchase if you’re missing out on the exotics. As for this week, he has brought Black Talon, Lunafaction Boots, Wormhusk Crown, and Stronghold. Players in Destiny 2 have been asking Bungie to add Random roll exotics in Xur’s inventory and they’ve replied.
Xur Won’t Have Random Roll Exotics in Season of Dawn
In a thread on Destiny 2 Reddit, dmg04 (community manager at Bungie) replied confirming that Xur won’t have random roll exotic weapons and armor in the upcoming Season of Dawn. This is something players have been asking for a long time. Here’s what he said:
“Xur will not feature random rolls in Season of Dawn. Sorry for the news, but want to set expectations now. Direct purchase exotic armor will continue to feature collection rolls. Think of this as an avenue for players who have not earned those exotics to check off the box and play around with the perk. Xur will have the updated Exotic Engram, so once you’ve collected all weapons, you’ll be getting a randomly rolled exotic armor piece each week. Further random roll acquisition will continue to be available through the Nightfall: Ordeal. We’ll continue to collect feedback over Xur and exotic random rolls as it comes in. I have no doubts we’ll see players getting some killer rolls from the engram next week, but others continuing their search for the perfect roll.”
