New Madden 20 Veterans Dion Lewis, Janoris Jenkins Added to Ultimate Team
On Friday, EA’s Madden Ultimate Team released their newest Veterans cards. Interestingly, one of those new Madden 20 Veterans items went to Janoris Jenkins, who was subsequently released by his team, the New York Giants, on Friday. The other card went to halfback Dion Lewis who currently plays for the Tennesse Titans. Let’s take a look at these brand new cards unveiled on December 13 and how much the costs are for each.
New Madden 20 Veterans items for Lewis, Jenkins
The Madden 20 Veterans program consists of players who spent a good deal of time in the league with productive careers. Dion Lewis and Janoris Jenkins have tallied nearly 200 combined games between them. Each player now receives an 89 overall card for Ultimate Team with upgraded attributes.
For example, Lewis’ card brings 93 Agility, 90 Acceleration, 89 Speed, and 86 Elusiveness. Jenkins has 92 Agility, 91 Acceleration, 88 Speed, and 86 Press amongst his attributes. Here’s a look at the new Madden 20 Veterans cards.
The timing of his card’s release wasn’t the best, as Jenkins was released by the Giants on Friday due to his use of a slur towards a fan and then defending what he did. After his release, Jenkins tweeted, “Best news ever…thank you,” but also followed up with thanks to the organization and best of luck to his former Giants teammates.
Based on that, it’s going to be interesting to see if EA will replace Jenkins with another player or keep him. He’ll likely be removed from the New York Giants roster soon as the game continuously updates the various teams’ personnel to reflect true-to-life rosters.
Where to get the cards in Ultimate Team
The Madden 20 Veterans cards are available in packs for 2,000 Training currency. Each pack gives one random Veterans player with an 86 overall or better rating. Player cards are also available through the Auction Browser for Madden Coins.
As of this report, EA’s Ultimate Team was offline. The team was investigating recent issues involving certain events not counting properly. Due to MUT being offline, we were unable to get a look at auction listings for the new Veterans players’ items.
