New Battlefield 5 Holiday Collection Available From Tomorrow

Following the recent launch of the “Unexpected Gift” challenge, which awards players with a unique melee weapon for building a snowman during the last Weekly Challenge, DICE is launching two new holiday promotions tomorrow, on the 17th of December; the Battlefield 5 Holiday Collection, and a new headgear which is free for all players.

The Battlefield 5 Holiday Collection and Mistletoe Headgear

All told, DICE has three different holiday events and promotions for Battlefield 5. The first of these is Unexpected Gift, which is currently active until the 18th of December as part of the See the World weekly challenge. To get the Unexpected Gift, which is a unique melee weapon, you’ll need to complete the SNØGUBBE optional challenge. (You just need to build a snowman in-game.) Tomorrow, on the day before Unexpected Gift ends, DICE will be launching the other two holiday promotions.

Battlefield 5 Holiday Collection Bundle Mistletoe Headgear 2

The first of these is very simple. All players who log into Battlefield 5 between the 17th and 30th of December will get the “Mistletoe” Rare headgear for free. The other promotion is a bit larger and is known as the Battlefield 5 Holiday Collection Bundle. This bundle will also be available between the 17th and 30th, and features a variety of different holiday cosmetics, including soldier sets, vehicle skins, and weapon skins. (These cosmetics are also available separately in the Armoury.)

Players who buy the Holiday Collection Bundle with Battlefield Currency will get 8 different items. The first two are both soldier skins; the “Wintertide” Epic soldier skin and the “Bundle Up” Epic soldier skin. You’ll also get the “Winter Glimmer” Rare Sherman vehicle skin, along with five different “Tannenbaum” Epic weapon skins. Specifically, these apply to the M1 Garand, STG 44, Sten Gun, Lewis Gun, and Lee-Enfield No. 4. All of this will be available up to the 30th of December, giving players ample time to enjoy the Battlefield festivities.
