NBA 2K20 Reveals All-Decade Team Prediction for the 2020s Including Giannis Antetokounmpo
It’s officially a wrap on the 2010s and now it’s time to start afresh with a new decade. With the reveal of numerous lists in sports for the best players of the past decade, NBA 2K20 is predicting which players will make this new decade’s list. Their predictions include five stellar selections, one of which has yet to truly show what he’s capable of in the league.
NBA 2K20 All-Decade team for 2010s vs. 2020s
It’s been quite a decade for the NBA and the NBA 2K game. Over the past 10 years, it’s really been about a trio of players’ teams reaching and winning the NBA Finals. Those players are Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and of course, King LeBron James. It’s no surprise that those three champions are part of the 2010s team, along with former NBA MVP James Harden and dominant big man Dwight Howard.

- SG James Harden, Rockets (96 OVR)
- SF Kevin Durant, Thunder/Warriors (97 OVR)
- PF LeBron James, Cavs/Heat/Lakers (99 OVR)
- C Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic (93 OVR)
For the next decade, NBA 2K20 is predicting big things for several players who have yet to even reach legal drinking age. The Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic has been having quite a season in just his second year with early talks of MVP potential. He’s also moved ridiculously close to the highest-rated stars in NBA 2K20 including LeBron James at just 20-years-old.
2019 No. 1 draft pick Zion Williamson has been sidelined due to injury for his rookie campaign so far. He’s yet to really show his capabilities but was among the highest-rated NBA 2K rookies in years. Per NBA 2K ratings, he sits at just an 81 overall, but that should start to rise once he gets back on the court.
Reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made the predicted all-decade squad along with two interesting choices. The Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons and Minnesota Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns round out the five players.

Young, Embiid and other potential considerations
Will Simmons be the best point guard over the next decade? The Atlanta Hawks have an incredible talent in Trae Young with his team yet to evolve into a playoff contender. As for Towns, Joel Embiid has the potential to take that spot, depending on how Philadelphia does in future postseasons.
The list also doesn’t take into account a surprising rookie or two who might come along. In the upcoming NBA Draft new talent could emerge such as Cole Anthony, LaMelo Bell, and James Wiseman. Fans have seen players picked beyond the initial top 13 of the draft have great careers as well.
It’s always fun to make speculations like the above. Basketball fans are surely in for some great performances just based on what’s been displayed. Fans of NBA 2K20 are hoping for an improved experience for the game moving into the NBA 2K21 and future installments.
