More all-time greats from the gridiron have arrived in Madden Ultimate Team. After the first of the Madden 20 Ultimate Legends players arrived several days ago, EA’s team has brought more options to the game. The newest players to arrive are former Oakland Raiders star Marcus Allen and Carolina Panthers defensive star, Julius Peppers.
Madden 20 Ultimate Legends players: New cards for Allen, Peppers
Several months ago, fans saw Marcus Allen enter Ultimate Team, but in regular Legends form. That card was an 89 overall with potential for boosts through various team chemistry upgrades. Now he’s part of the Madden 20 Ultimate Legends with a 96 overall Career Edition card available.
The card includes 94 Speed, 94 Agility, 93 Acceleration, 93 Carrying, and 90 Break Tackle. The Power Up option comes into play as you can boost Allen up to a 97 OVR with even better ratings if you’ve defeated his Ultimate Legends Challenge.
In addition to Marcus Allen, left end Julius Peppers is also available as of Monday, February 10 in Ultimate Team. His card is also a 96 OVR and includes Power Up, with a challenge now available for Peppers to earn that item.
Peppers’ new item includes a 95 for Finesse Moves, 92 Acceleration, 91 Strength, and 88 Speed. Some of those can gain additional boosts thanks to Team Chemistry options.
How to get the player items in Ultimate Team
In order to get the above Madden 20 Ultimate Legends players, gamers need to assemble a set of five other UL cards for the player. See below for a look at Marcus Allen’s set. Check out our first group of Ultimate Legends players for details on the sets.
The other option is to buy the new cards from the Auction Browser. As of this report, it’s still early for auction listings. We’re expecting these new player items to follow suit with the others revealed over the past few days carrying prices that go to 300,000 Madden Coins or higher.
In addition to these new players, gamers can add Ultimate Legends Tokens from Ultimate Kickoff Challenges. By collecting 16 tokens prior to Feb. 19, gamers can trade in the set for one free Ultimate Legends Career Edition player of their choice.
