FIFA 20 Future Stars: How to Get Nicolo Zaniolo FUT Objectives Upgrade Items
As both of the FIFA 20 Future Stars teams were revealed over the past week or so, there have also been some new Objectives players. On Tuesday, EA’s FIFA 20 released the newest of these with Nicolo Zaniolo. The Roma central midfielder can now be upgraded all the way to an 86 overall. Here are more details on how to upgrade Zaniolo through the FIFA Ultimate Team Objectives.
New FIFA 20 Future Stars Nicolo Zaniolo upgrade through FUT Objectives
The Future Stars feature the best young players around with a chance at making a splash in terms of international soccer. That includes Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo. His initial FIFA 20 Future Stars item has him at the CAM position with a 77 overall. The card includes 80 Physical, 79 Dribbling, 77 Pace, 72 Passing, and 71 Shooting. However, by completing objectives gamers can get an 81 OVR, and then an 83 OVR, and finally, an 86 OVR version.
That final upgraded Future Stars card brings the best skills ratings for Zaniolo. They include 88 Physical, 87 Dribbling, 86 Pace, 84 Passing, and 82 Shooting. Here’s a look at EA FIFA’s tweet showing off the upgrades.

How to get the Zaniolo upgraded items through objectives
To get the Zaniolo, head into the Season Objectives area of Ultimate Team. Next, scroll to FUT Future Stars Academy: Zaniolo. There is where the full FUT Objectives are for each part of the Nicolo Zaniolo upgrade. There are 11 total objectives. Each brings a reward with it, including the Zaniolo cards shown up above. We have all of the FIFA 20 Future Stars Academy Objectives listed below for an easier reference.
- A Future Star – Assist on 3 goals using Serie A players. (77 OVR Zaniolo) 200 XP
- The Wolf of Rome – Score 2 goals with 77 OVR Zaniolo. (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- Third Lung – Assist 2 goals using 77 OVR Zaniolo (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- A Promising Start – Assist on 2 goals in 2 separate matches with 77 OVR Zaniolo (81 OVR Zaniolo) 200 XP
- Italian Talent – Score 2 goals using 81 OVR Zaniolo in Rivals or Squad Battles. Must be minimum of Professional difficulty (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- Across Fields – Assist a goal with a Cross using 81 OVR Zaniolo on Rivals or Squad battles with a minimum of Professional difficulty. (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- Climbing the Ranks – Score a Finesse goal using 81 OVR Zaniolo in 3 separate Rivals or Squad Battles. Minimum of Professional difficulty. (83 OVR Zaniolo) 200 XP
- Top Bins – Score 2 Volleys using 83 OVR Zaniolo in Rivals. (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- Midfield Powerhouse – Score and Assist using 83 OVR Zaniolo in 4 separate Rivals wins. (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- Third Eye – Assist with a Lob Through pass using 83 OVR Zaniolo in 7 separate Rivals wins. (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
- Assist Machine – Assist 15 goals using Zaniolo in Rivals. (Rare Player Pack) 200 XP
Once gamers complete each of these 11 objectives, they’ll acquire the fully upgraded 86 overall Nicolo Zaniolo FIFA 20 Future Stars item. So far, many gamers feel the full Zaniolo is a good card, especially when paired with Guardian or Sniper. It also can work well for those with Nicolo Barella on their roster. Others feel that Zaniolo’s rating could have been higher, possibly at an 88 or 89 OVR.
