The Return of Gunfight Trios and More in Modern Warfare This Week
With Season 2 now in full swing, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have two new additions to look forward to this week. The first is the return of the Modern Warfare Gunfight Trios mode, while the other is a new “1v1 Me Bro” playlist which features unique radar machanics to up the challenge.
Modern Warfare Gunfight Trios and a New 1v1 Playlist
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight Trios mode first launched back in mid-January, but at the time, it wasn’t a permanent addition. However, the mode makes its return to the game this week; the first time that it has been available since the release of new Gunfight maps at the start of Season 2. As such, fans should have a few new arenas to try out the mode on this time around (most notably, the new Bazaar map, which launched as part of the latest game update).
In addition to the return of Gunfight Trios, Infinity Ward is also making a new 1v1 playlist available this week. The updated “1v1 Me Bro” playlist features a range of 1v1 maps, but also preset radar mechanics. In this playlist, the radar is on permanently in all matches, meaning that players will be constantly receiving radar blips to inform them of their opponent’s location. As such, players will need to be especially careful, and keep one eye on the radar if they want to win.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the second new Operator of Season 2 is now available as of a few days ago. Mace, a new Allegiance Operator, Jackals member, and former U.S. Ranger, is available now via the Mace Operator Bundle in the in-game store. This bundle includes the new Operator, along with the “Metal Phantom” Operator Skin, “Mace to the Face” Finishing Move, 2 weapon blueprints, 2 tier skips, and some additional content besides.
