Following the recent unveiling of Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock, the next upcoming Borderlands 3 DLC, Gearbox has made a new code available which will unlock more Golden Keys. As usual, this code will only be active for a limited time. However, unlike normal, the code actually unlocks a full five new Borderlands 3 Golden Keys, rather than just one.
The Latest Batch of Borderlands 3 Golden Keys
The new Borderlands 3 Golden Keys are only available until 11:59 PM PST on the 19th of March, although this is actually longer than normal. Often, Golden Key codes are only available over the course of a weekend, or for a few days. You can get your hands on these keys through the usual methods; simply redeem the code in-game or on the SHiFT website, etc., before the end of the availability period. Once you do, you should receive 5 new Golden Keys to use to unlock Sanctuary III’s Golden Loot Chest. The code you’ll need to use is; C3KJB-3H9HZ-63KZW-9BKJB-WZRCR.
There’s plenty to look forward to in Borderlands 3 this month. Not only is the upcoming Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC launching on the 26th, but ahead of that, Borderlands 3 will finally be coming to Steam. The game has been exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC until now. In fact, once it launches on Steam, the PC version of the game will feature Epic/Steam crossplay. As such, if you have the game on Epic, you’ll be able to play just fine with any friends who will be picking it up for the first time on Steam.
Gearbox also recently revealed their Spring 2020 content roadmap. In addition to the new DLC, players can look forward to both the long-awaited Mayhem 2.0 update and a new event, “Revenge of the Cartels,” coming in April. After that, Gearbox will be launching the game’s second Takedown mission in May as part of a free content update. Presumably, the game’s third DLC will then launch in June or July. Gearbox hasn’t yet revealed much about the third DLC, but they have teased that it will include dinosaur-riding outlaws…
