NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs Add New Players Including Galaxy Opal Larry Bird and Kyrie Irving
In celebration of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, NBA 2K20 MyTeam is adding a number of players who wore Celtics green during their careers. Amongst them are the legendary Larry Bird and former All-Star guard Kyrie Irving. Each player now has a new Galaxy Opal card. Here are more details on the limited-time player additions for NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs.
New players in NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs include Bird, Irving
On St. Patty’s Day, the NBA 2K20 MyTeam Twitter dropped a video reveal (below) of four new players that will be in the Buzzer Beater packs. They include Larry Legend himself with a Galaxy Opal, as well as Kyrie Irving. Joining them are two other former Boston Celtics players with John Havlicek and Avery Bradley each getting new Pink Diamond items.
Larry Bird’s new GO item has a whopping 40 Hall of Fame Badges. Just some of those include Quick Draw, Hot Zone Hunter, Clamps, Pick Pocket, and Tireless Defender. Irving’s GO item features 14 Gold and 41 HOF Badges including Floor General, Ankle Breaker, Flashy Passer, and Clamps.

- John Havlicek (Pink Diamond) 98 OVR
- Avery Bradley (Pink Diamond) 97 OVR
The NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs have a price of 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT for a single pack of five cards. For 67,500 VC, gamers can purchase a 10-pack box, while 135,000 VC gets a 20-pack box.
For the PS4 Auction listings, Larry Bird’s new GO card has gone over 400,000 MT and as high as 554,000 MT, as of this report. Kyrie Irving’s card has a range of about 250,000 MT up to nearly 490,000 MT, as of this report.
