This past Friday, the NBA 2K Players Tournament schedule tipped off with NBA stars going head-to-head on the 2K20 video game. That was just the start of the first round, as there are four more matchups scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 5. We’ve got the latest schedule details, updated tournament bracket, and how to watch it live on Sunday.
Updated 2K tournament bracket after Friday’s results
The 2K Tournament results on Friday night included three upsets out of four games. The first of those arrived as No. 16 seed Derrick Jones Jr. upset Kevin Durant, eliminating him early. In the next matchup, the No. 2 seed Trae Young came to play, as he put up over 100 points against Harrison Barnes to get the win.
In the third matchup, another upset occurred when the Phoenix Suns’ DeAndre Ayton took down higher seed Zach LaVine of the Bulls. In Friday night’s finale, it was Patrick Beverly upsetting Hassan Whiteside.
That means four players moved on to the quarterfinals, but so far just one matchup is official. It will feature No. 2 seed Trae Young battling No. 10 seed DeAndre Ayton.
