The latest weekly live event for Far Cry 5 has now gone live, replacing last week’s “Hambearger” event. This week, the event is entitled “Arcade Nights”, and for those who have been keeping up with the game’s events, it bears quite a similarity to the Arcade Noon event which ran last month.
The Arcade Nights Live Event
Just like Arcade Noon, this event doesn’t require you to kill anybody. Instead, what you need to do is use Far Cry 5’s arcade machines. Arcade Noon required players to use the arcade machines a certain number of times. This time around, Arcade Nights requires you to use a machine for a certain length of time. A normal weekly live event requires you to complete a challenge a certain number of times. This week, you just need to play for more time.

To reach the first reward threshold, you’ll need to use one of the arcade machines in Far Cry 5 for 20 minutes. Reaching that amount will earn you 100 XP and 50 Silver Bars. If you play for a grand total of 40 minutes, you’ll be rewarded with a further 100 XP and this week’s event reward; the BP-2 “Infinite Fun”. This week, the reward is a unique BP-2 assault rifle that features an arcade machine color scheme and boosted stats.
If the community as a whole plays Far Cry 5’s arcade machines for a total of 750,000 minutes, then everyone will gain 100 XP and 50 Silver Bars. If the community totals 1,500,000 minutes of arcade usage, everyone will get 100 XP and the Colorful Hair special clothing item. The community must meet these totals by the end of the event on the 26th of June, next week. Unlike usual weekly event community rewards; Arcade Nights offers a set of different hair colors rather than a new Special Outfit. Almost every other live event has offered community rewards that are the outfits for NPCs who feature in Far Cry 5.
