Right now, we’re enjoying playing the April free games through Xbox Games with Gold, including Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle and Project CARS 2. But what will the free Xbox Games with Gold May 2020 games be? Let’s check out a few predictions.
1. The Town of Light
One game coming out on May 15th is Those Who Remain from Wired Productions. We think it is possible that another game Wired Productions could be free next month. One possibility is The Town of Light, a psychological horror game which follows a girl in an asylum.
2. Abzu
Releasing on May 22nd is Maneater, an open world underwater shark game for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We hope we can play another underwater game next month for free through Games with Gold, like Abzu. Abzu is described as, “a beautiful underwater adventure that evokes the dream of diving. Immerse yourself in a vibrant hidden world bursting with color and life as you descend into the heart of the ocean. Discover hundreds of unique species and form a powerful connection with the abundant sea life. But beware as you swim deeper, dangers lurk in the depths.
3. Narcosis
Speaking of underwater games, Narcosis might be another good option for next month’s free games through Games with Gold. The official description for this title reads, “Survival, horror at the sunless depths of the Pacific: Stranded on the seafloor with low light and few tools, an industrial diver takes desperate steps to surface before his dwindling oxygen — and sanity — give out. Influenced and inspired by unconventional horror and narrative-driven games, Narcosis is rooted in reality, but steeped in the surreal.”
4. Saints Row 2
Saints Row: The Third Remastered will release on May 22nd on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Games with Gold does have a history of featuring Saints Row titles, including Saints Row: The Third as well as Saints Row IV, in 2014 and 2016 respectively. But the service has yet to make Saints Row 2 free, so maybe that will finally happen next month. That could be a good way for gamers to catch up or refresh their memories before playing the remaster of Saints Row: The Third.
