MLB The Show 20 Players League Playoffs: Updated Winner Odds Favor Blake Snell, Joey Gallo

As of Wednesday night, the field of eight baseball stars for the MLB The Show 20 Players League playoffs was set. After a doubleheader of games, the seeds, brackets, and matchups were determined for the first-ever postseason featuring the best-of-the-best on the sticks. That includes Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Blake Snell and Texas Rangers star Joey Gallo, both of whom are amongst favorites to win it all now.

Snell, Gallo lead odds to win MLB The Show 20 Players League

The MLB The Show 20 Players League began back on April 10, and at that time we revealed player odds to win it all. Pitcher Blake Snell was odds-on-favorite to win it all, and as the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs, he maintains that spot.

Snell is listed at +225 odds to win, meaning a $100 bet on Snell would return $225 if he wins. He’ll take on the No. 8 seed Gavin Lux of the Los Angeles Dodgers to begin his quest for the title.

However, the Rangers’ Joey Gallo has shown how good he is at the virtual baseball game. He also previously defeated Snell in their matchup. So Gallo also has +225 odds as he heads into the tournament. He’ll face Ian Happ of the Chicago Cubs in the opening road.

Coming in third overall is Bo Bichette of the Toronto Blue Jays with +450 odds, followed by the New York Mets’ Jeff McNeil at +700, and White Sox player Lucas Giolito at +900. Giolito captured a huge win over Amir Garrett on Wednesday during a doubleheader. That saw the Chicago star grab the No. 6 seed in the MLB Players League standings as they head towards the playoffs.
