Following the recent announcement of the upcoming launch of Modern Warfare Season Four, Activision has confirmed both the end date and time for Season Three. As such, it is now players’ last chance to unlock tiers of the Season Three Battle Pass. Once the season ends in two days’ time, the reward items will no longer be available.
The End of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Three
According to Activision, Modern Warfare Season Three will officially end at 11:00 PM PST on the 2nd of June. This means that players only have a couple of days left to finish their Season Three Battle Passes. Fortunately, Infinity Ward is giving all players a last-minute boost to help out with grinding. Until the season ends, all players are currently benefiting from double XP, double Weapon XP, and double Battle Pass tier progression.

This time around, there won’t be much of a break between seasons in Modern Warfare and Warzone. Following the end of Season 3 on the 2nd of June, Season Four will begin the very next day. Neither Activision nor Infinity Ward have yet to detail exactly what is coming in Season Four. However, the initial announcement trailer appears to indicate the addition of Captain Price as a playable Operator as a headline offering. Certainly, such an addition would make sense following that of Alex at the start of Season Three.
That first announcement trailer, along with recent blog posts on Infinity Ward’s news site, may also indicate that Modern Warfare’s Special Ops could be a key part of Season Four. The recent trailer focused on recapping the story of the game’s campaign, for example. (A story which leads directly into that of Special Ops.) Meanwhile, Infinity Ward also recently published a series of character biographies for notable story characters, including the Special Ops antagonists. For now, however, fans will have to wait and see what Activision announces in the coming days.
