Leak Claims That Apex Legends Bunkers Will Start to Open Soon

One of the more notable and mysterious additions to Apex Legends in Season 5 is that of several new bunkers. At present, these locations are all locked up tight. However, that may soon change… at least according to a recent datamining leak. Given Apex Legends’ long history of datamining leaks, it’s certainly worthy of consideration, even it shouldn’t be taken as confirmation.

The Apex Legends Bunkers in Season 5

According to well-known Apex Legends dataminer Shrugtal, who has been the source of numerous leaks of this nature in the past, the Apex Legends bunkers could start to open very soon. The leak consists of a map of the four bunkers, including their official designations; Terminal Station F-85, Terminal Station L-19, Terminal Station O-240, and Terminal Station W-78. The map images also list the date windows when these bunkers will open.

Apex Legends Bunkers Datamining Leak

If this leak is accurate, then Terminal Station F-85 will be the first bunker to open, and it will do so on the 16th of June. However, it seems as though the process of opening each bunker will be somewhat slow. According to Shrugtal, each will take roughly a week to open fully. As such, F-85 won’t be ready to enter until the 23rd of June.

Each ready-to-enter date corresponds with the next bunker starting to open. As such, the maps claim that W-73 will start to open on the 23rd of June, and be fully open on the 30th. O-240 will then begin to open, until it is ready to enter on the 7th of July. Finally, L-19 will be ready to enter on the 14th. At that point, all of the Apex Legends bunkers will aparently be accessible. Apparently, each of these bunkers will effectively serve as a high-value loot cache, containing a gold knockdown shield, Prowler, Sentinel, and Havoc (one item per bunker).

Of course, it remains to be seen whether this information is completely accurate. After all, even if the datamining info does indeed come from the game, it could be out-of-date or only partially complete. As such, it’s possible that the bunkers could deviate somewhat from this reveal. Fans will have to wait and see, but they may not need to wait too long.
