A trio of gridiron greats will appear as the new Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 21 on Saturday. Among them is the Minister of Defense Reggie White, who will now get a new card that can achieve 99 overall. There’s also right tackle Jonathan Ogden and a limited-availability item for right outside linebacker Derrick Brooks. Here are all of the latest details.
New Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 21 Boss player cards
The Boss player cards are the best available when it comes to Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 21. Thanks to Power Up cards, these can take the players to their best possible rating, a 99 overall. That includes the brand new Reggie White Boss Ultimate Legends item, which will help plenty of MUT defenses.
With the full upgrade, the 6-foot-5 left end can have 99 Block Shedding and Power Moves. He can also have 98 Play Recognition, 98 Strength, 96 Tackle, 92 Finesse Moves, and 91 Acceleration. That gives him his best item since his NFL 100 card, although White does have a Golden Ticket card at 99 OVR.
Joining him as the other non-LTD Boss player is Baltimore Ravens right tackle, Jonathan Ogden. He also has an NFL 100 card, rated at 94 OVR. The new fully-upgraded UL card can have 99 Strength, 99 Pass Block Power, 98 Pass Block, 98 Run Block, 98 Run Block Power, 95 Awareness, and 95 Run Block Finesse.
This weekend’s LTD player is Tampa Bay Buccaneers right outside linebacker, Derrick Brooks. His card is exclusively found inside select packs for the next 48 hours, starting Saturday. With Brooks fully upgraded, you’ll get 98 Tackle, 98 Play Recognition, 91 Acceleration, 90 Speed, 84 Block Shedding, and 77 Strength.
Where to get the UL cards, new challenges
With Derrick Brooks, he’ll be available in packs for two days, making him the LTD card of the group. His card will also become available through the Auction Browser, at high prices due to the limited availability. Meanwhile, Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 21 players Reggie White and Jonathan Ogden have several ways to acquire their Boss cards.
You can build a set of their five non-Boss cards to exchange for the Boss card. So you’ll need the 89 OVR, 90 OVR, 91 OVRR, 95 OVR, and 97 OVR cards in order to complete either player’s exchange set. These cards are available through packs, the Auction House, and also by winning one of the new challenges.
There are four new Ultimate Legends Challenges. Two of them correspond to Reggie White and Jonathan Ogden, where you’ll start in the third quarter against their team and have to win the game. Ultimately, winning the game earns you their Power Up item and Madden Coins.
There’s another Ultimate Kickoff Challenge which requires you to defeat the Ultimate Legends team. Winning is good for Madden Coins and a free Ultimate Legends player. These can be used towards the exchange sets mentioned above.
The fourth challenge is one in which you take on the Ultimate Legends team and can win a free UL Token for beating them along with Madden Coins. The UL Token is one of 16 needed for an exchange set good for a free random Boss Ultimate Legends player. That token also has a quicksell value of 10,000 Coins.
