What would you do to set a new kill record in Apex Legends? Would you be willing to break the game? In a new video, you can watch as YouTuber Zylbrad breaks Apex Legends just to set a record number of kills. As you might guess, he chose to rely on an unusual tactic.
Zylbrad Breaks Apex Legends With Strange Tactic
You can watch the Zylbrad video below:
As Zylbrad explained to his followers, “Today we’re going to achieve the world record of kills. We’re going to go to the same spot with our Respawn Beacons, that is the key, that’s how we’re going to get the most kills ever.”
Dozens of fans showed up in-game in the chosen location with the help of the Respawn Beacons. They then waited for Zylbrad to shoot them. In total, Zylbrad achieved 272 kills. But it wasn’t without a cost to the server. Indeed, as he was playing, he got an error which read, “Server shutting down – Internal server error.” He then said, “No, did that count? I’m in the game but its glitched. Does anyone see this, we broke the game.”
For the purposes of XP, it turned out those kills did count, resulting in 37,539 XP to his account. Of course, nobody will ever confuse this with a genuine kill record set by playing the game properly. But it was entertaining for all involved. It makes you wonder what he will come up with next. Will he try to break this kill record again the same way? If he does, he probably will crash the game.
In other news, Respawn has confirmed that heirlooms are on the way for all Apex Legends. Also, you probably should be aware that there is a bug which is causing ammo to bounce off of waterfalls, but only in one direction. Looking for more to entertain you? Check out our Apex Legends news section.
