NBA 2K20 MyTeam Cards: GOAT Shaq, Glitched Porzingis Arrive in Flash 9 Packs Release
A number of new NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards have arrived in the ninth Flash Pack release for gamers to upgrade their rosters in the game. Among them is a brand new Shaquille O’Neal item which gives him G.O.A.T. status similar to previous card recipients. In addition, Kristaps Porzingis and Blake Griffin are now “glitched” with their new Galaxy Opal cards.
New NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards for Shaq, Griffin, Porzingis
The Flash Pack 9 release brings some of the best NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards yet in the game for Blake Griffin, Kristaps Porzingis, and Shaq. Of those players, Shaq gets a GOAT Galaxy Opal which is something we’ve seen former Lakers Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar get.
With Shaq’s GOAT card, he gets 98 Rebounding, 97 Inside Scoring, 95 Athleticism, 93 Outside Scoring, and 93 Defending. Shaq gets a total of 64 Hall of Fame Badges too. They include popular badges like Relentless Finisher, Volume Shooter, Clamps, Rim Protector, and Worm.
We’ve seen Shaq get 99 OVR cards for a few other promotions. They included cards from Showtime and Flash Packs 5.
A number of other players received Galaxy Opal cards in the new Flash 5 packs release. We mentioned Blake Griffin, whose new Glitched card makes him eligible to play point guard. Porzingis can play at shooting guard rather than his traditional power forward or center positions. DeMarcus Cousins and Jaylen Brown also get new Galaxy Opals, but not of the Glitched variety.
Current packs, boxes, and auction prices
Many gamers enjoy the thrill of the hunt to find top-rated cards randomly. The NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards mentioned above will be available for one week as part of the promotion which began July 17.
Currently, NBA 2K20 Flash 9 packs cost 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT for a single five-item pack. For a 10-pack box, expect to pay 67,500 VC, while a 20-pack box will cost 135,000 VC. Those are the options to go searching for Shaq, Porzingis, Griffin, and other players.
They may be an inexpensive way to get them, if you’re lucky, compared to some of the current auction listings. Shaq’s GOAT card listings are around 2.4 million MT on the PS4 Auction area. For Kristaps Porizingis, expect to pay about 130,000 MT, while Griffin is going for around 180,500 at most.
