New Twitch Rewards Now Available for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
With Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare now in full swing, Activision has launched a new series of Twitch rewards, similar to those available during previous seasons. However, players will need to act fast; after all, these new rewards are only available from now until the 19th of August! Once earned, they can be used in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer, Special Ops, and Warzone.
The Latest Range of Modern Warfare Twitch Rewards
“Season Five of Modern Warfare brought major map changes to Warzone and gave Multiplayer fans four new battlegrounds,” writes Activision; “Level up your weapons and your identity with cool new rewards, available to earn by watching Modern Warfare on Twitch from August 12 to August 19.”
In order to be eligible to earn these new Modern Warfare Twitch rewards, you’ll need to link your Call of Duty account to your Twitch account. Note that, unlike some Twitch rewards, you don’t need a Twitch Prime account in this case; any standard Twitch account will do. If you’ve not linked your two accounts yet, click here to do so.
Once you’ve linked your accounts, simply tune into any Modern Warfare or Warzone stream on Twitch in the Modern Warfare category. You’ll know that a stream is eligible if you see the callout that; “drops are enabled”. Once you’ve found an eligible stream, simply watch, and wait for your rewards to drop. Your total watch time of eligible streams contributes to your rewards. Watch for 1 hour, and you’ll unlock the ‘Smoke Up’ sticker. 2 hours will net you a 1-hour Double XP Token. 3 hours will earn you the ‘Big Bang’ animated calling card. Finally, watching 4 hours will earn you the ‘Blast Check’ weapon charm.
Note that these four Modern Warfare Twitch rewards will only be available for a few more days. The rewards are available from now until the 19th of August, in just under one week’s time.
