Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies Reveal Coming This Week
It seems that Call of Duty fans don’t just have the launch of Modern Warfare Season 6 to look forward to this week. Earlier today, Treyarch announced that an official reveal of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode will be released on the 30th of September; this coming Wednesday.
The Black Ops Cold War Zombies Reveal
With a return to the Black Ops series for Call of Duty next on the agenda, it was always anticipated that fans would get to see a return of the classic Zombies mode. Indeed, thanks to several leaks over the course of the last few months, the existence of just such a mode has been a rather open secret. However, despite all that, fans still don’t know that much about the Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode. Given that the game is returning to the roots of the series, the Zombies mode may also get a redesign.
Whatever the case, fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out the details. In keeping with their recent trend of making announcements at very short notice, Treyarch has announced that the official Black Ops Cold War Zombies reveal will be coming in just two days’ time. The reveal will launch on the Call of Duty YouTube channel on the 30th of September; the day after the launch of Modern Warfare Season 6.
Until then, fans will have to wait patiently and speculate about what Treyarch might have planned. The official artwork released ahead of the teaser is relatively ambiguous. However, given the game’s Cold War setting, a Zombies mode set in Vietnam would make plenty of sense. Interestingly, the studio also teased that; “A new Zombies story begins,” teasing that the new mode won’t be tied to any previous canon or existing stories.
