New Madden 21 Legends Group 8 Players Steve Smith, Rickey Jackson Join Ultimate Team
As of Saturday morning, Madden Ultimate Team has gained another pair of gridiron greats for both sides of the ball. This weekend’s Madden 21 Legends Group 8 features former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith and former New Orleans Saints linebacker Rickey Jackson. Each legend gets new player items in MUT mode, along with special challenges to earn Power Ups, Coins, and a Legends Token.

Ultimate Team is now up to Madden 21 Legends Group 8, as the NFL season continues to move forward. Each Saturday, EA adds at least two new Legends players to Ultimate Team. Each gets a high-rated limited (LTD) card, along with Boss Legends card (slightly lower rating), and other lower-rated Legends items.
Below is a look at the new LTD Legends items for Steve Smith and Rickey Jackson. They’re now at 93 overall ratings, showing a slight increase in OVR for the Legends program this week. That arrives just as we saw a similar boost in OVR happen with new The 50 players including Brett Favre.
Among key attributes for Smith’s new LTD item are his 92 Catch In Traffic, 92 Jumping, 91 Catching, and 91 Speed. Jackson gets a 92 for Power Moves, 91 Block Shedding, 91 Tackling, and 87 Speed, giving a nice boost for a MUT roster’s defense.https://twitter.com/mut_news1/status/1314707437883187206
How to get Smith and Jackson’s new MUT items
Gamers can play new Ultimate Team Legends challenges for both Steve Smith Jr. and Rickey Jackson. By defeating the player’s team, you’ll earn their Power Up item along with Madden Coins. There’s also one other challenge to earn a Legends Token. By assembling a set of these, gamers earn a Madden 21 Legends NAT player.
The Boss Legends cards are in packs, purchased at the Auction House, or acquired through an exchange set. To get the 92 OVR Boss Legends card for Smith or Jackson requires exchanging their 84, 85, 86, 88, and 90 OVR cards.
The Limited (LTD) Legends cards are available randomly in packs at the Store until October 12 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. They can also be purchased, typically for high costs, at the Madden 21 Auction House. Current prices are about 650,000 Coins or more for Smith’s LTD and 549,000 to 600,000 Coins for Jackson’s LTD on PS4.
