For starters, here is a tweet that shows an image of the box with the statement, “Dualsense controller shipment just arrived at Walmart.”
So, that is pretty cool, and relatively straightforward. Anyone with access to the shipment area could have shared that post. More mysterious is this post on Reddit:
The image also shows what looks like a legit boxed controller. The caption says, “Found this listed locally on Facebook. How are these around yet?” Exactly our thoughts as well.
There is no guarantee that the listing is legit. But could it be? Sure. Maybe it fell out of a truck and they found it by the roadside. Maybe they stole it from their workplace warehouse. Either way, the price the asker wants isn’t really worth it just to get it ahead of schedule. It would be better to save your money and spend it on new games for your PS5 instead.
