Madden 21 Legends Group 10 Brings Joe Montana Back to Ultimate Team
The great Joe Montana makes his return to Ultimate Team as part of Madden 21 Legends Group 10. He’ll be one of the two legendary football stars with a high-rated card, new challenges, and other items coming out in MUT. Joining Montana is defensive gridiron great John Randle of the Minnesota Vikings. Here’s a look at their new cards and what to expect in Ultimate Team.
Joe Montana, John Randle arrive for Madden 21 Legends Group 10
Before Brady became the G.O.A.T. in terms of quarterbacks and winning championships, there was the legend Joe Montana. He racked up four Super Bowl rings and eight Pro Bowl appearances along with some impressive stats in his Hall of Fame career.
He now arrives for Madden 21 Legends Group 10 with Boss and Legends cards. Amongst the top attributes on Joe’s high-rated item is 91 Throw Under Pressure, 91 Short Accuracy, 90 Medium Accuracy, and 89 Throw Power.
Minnesota Vikings defensive great John Randle is also back for Ultimate Team with Legends items. His top-rated card (below) features 92 Finesse Moves, 90 Play Recognition, 89 Tackling, 88 Block Shedding, and 88 Strength.
The player cards above give some nice options for Ultimate Team rosters. However, as far as quarterbacks go, many gamers seem to love the more mobile QBs. The Most Feared Scary Sharp reveal brought a new Russell Wilson card into the mix with 89 Speed, but there’s also that Legends Michael Vick card with 91 Speed.
New MUT items, Ultimate Team Challenges
Every Saturday throughout the Ultimate Team Season there are new Legends. The new Madden 21 Legends Group 10 players will have Boss cards which players can get through packs, the Auction House, or by putting together an exchange set. That exchange set requires the players’ five other lower-rated (non-Boss) Legends cards, also available through packs or Auction listings.
Limited cards (LTDs) for Joe Montana and John Randle are available in packs, usually for just the weekend. They’re also available beyond that time for a high price on the Madden 21 Auction House.
There are three new Challenges available for the Madden 21 Legends Group 10. Joe Montana and John Randle each have their own challenge where gamers can defeat their team for Madden Coins and that Legend’s Power Up.
The other challenge allows gamers to earn Coins and a Legends Token. By compiling a set of those tokens, it can be traded in for a NAT Legends player down the road.
