It is never too soon to start shopping for PlayStation 5 games, especially if you managed to pre-order the console. But even if you don’t think you’ll be able to grab a PS5 for a few months, deals worth taking advantage of are starting to show up for PS5 games. In fact, the PlayStation Store just offered its first PS5 game discount. Let’s check it out.
What was the First PS5 Game Discount?
As of yesterday, the PlayStation Store was selling the PS5 version of Hitman 3’s Deluxe Edition for $63.99, which is 20% off of the full price of $79.99. The store did not offer a discount on the Standard Edition. We checked back today, and the Deluxe Edition is now listed at full price again. So, it appears the sale might be over, but perhaps they will apply the discount again, as it seems like it was only on sale very briefly.
The official description for the game reads, “”Hitman III is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy, taking players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations, with Agent 47 returning for the most important contracts of his career,” reads an official blurb about the game. “Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, Agent 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Grey.
