A new Joe Morgan MLB The Show 20 Player Program has officially arrived in the game in honor of the late, great baseball star. Morgan is part of the new 10th Inning Program content, which officially launched on Friday, October 30. Gamers can now unlock a special 99 overall Diamond card featuring Morgan to use with their Diamond Dynasty squad. Here’s how to get that done.
New Joe Morgan MLB The Show 20 Diamond card released
With a teaser video on Thursday, Diamond Dynasty fans learned that a new Joe Morgan MLB The Show 20 Player Program would be part of the game. Morgan passed away this past October, making this particular program a fitting tribute in the baseball simulation game.
Over the course of his Hall of Fame career, Morgan recorded 2,517 hits, 268 home runs, 689 stolen bases, and a .271 batting average. He also was a two-time National League MVP and two-time World Series champion in addition to being a 10-time All-Star.
His new 99 OVR MVP card pays tribute to Morgan’s days with the Cincinnati Reds, where he captured those two World Series rings and MVP Awards. With Morgan, gamers get a Diamond Hitting and Defense star for their roster. Morgan, who plays only second base, has a 123 Contact Right with 107 Power on Right. In addition, he brings 110 Vision, 125 Plate Discipline, 125 Clutch, and 92 Speed.
Quirks for the new Morgan 99 OVR are Hitting Machine, 20/20 Vision, Walker, Soft Hands, Quick Reflexes, and Sniper. The card is only available through the Joe Morgan MLB The Show 20 Player Program. See below for how to unlock it.
