Following on from other recent GTA Online events this year, this week Rockstar is featuring another free vehicle; the Dinka Verus. Available throughout the event, players can get this ATV, as well as taking advantage of the usual range of bonus rewards and store discounts.
This Week’s Dinka Verus GTA Online Event
This week’s GTA Online event is the first of four week-long events which, according to Rockstar, will be; “celebrating the passion and dedication of the GTA Online community throughout a year unlike any other”. Until the 3rd of March, as mentioned above, the Dinka Verus will be free to claim from Warstock Cache & Carry. This new ATV is well-suited to rough, off-road terrain, and can even carry a single passenger.
The big bonus rewards this week are to be found in GTA Online’s Contact Missions, Open Wheel Races, and Biker Sell Missions. All three of these are offering double normal rewards until the 24th of February. Associate and Bodyguard salaries, meanwhile, have been temporarily tripled. Another side-feature of this event is the limited-time return of Peyote Plants out in the wilderness.
When it comes to in-store discounts, this week Rockstar’s focus is on sites which serve as your base of operations. The Master Penthouse, MC Clubhouses, MC Businesses, and Arena Workshop are all 50% off. As for vehicles, the Benefactor BR8, Declasse DR1, Ocelot R88, and Progen PR4 are all 40% off; ideal for players looking to take advantage of the double rewards for Open Wheel Races, since they’re all Open Wheel vehicles.
That isn’t all, however, with even more discounts available on a selection of more unusual vehicles. The BF Ramp Buggy, Invade and Persuade Tank, Mammoth Thruster, and RC Bandito are all 50% off this week. Meanwhile, the Grotti Itali RSX and the enormous RO-86 Alkonost aircraft are both available at a 25% discount.
