Even with a few minor errors, the Battlefield V Closed Alpha is a success. hat’s at least what the press and content creators say about the ongoing alpha phase of the upcoming Battlefield title.
Everyone had their doubts about Battlefield V, given the backlash over its customization options and the use of female characters which was taken as a historical inaccuracy. However, the first Battlefield V Closed Alpha feedback shows that the game is on the right track regarding its gameplay.
What most people have to deem positive about the Battlefield V Closed Alpha is the Grand Operations mode. Its classic multiplayer mode is still the most popular mode in the series, but the operations that were first introduced in Battlefield 1 shine in the new title.
Note that this is the first playable version of the game apart from its exclusive pre-alpha version handed to specific players a few weeks ago. Everyone points out how improved the game’s gunplay is and how realistic it feels when actually getting into it.
Many players reveal that Battlefield V feels like a classic Battlefield game back in the days of its second or third title. Running and shotting feels smoother, with faster matches with no less “dramatic effects”.
Given DICE’s use of dynamic explosions and aerial presense, it’s only natural for Battlefield V to feel more real than ever. Taking a stroll through Reddit you’ll find that fans have even started to get used to the idea of having customized characters, which now look much more “down to earth” than the ones we’ve seen on the game’s reveal trailer and screenshots.
It remains to be seen if the Battlefield V Closed Alpha will stand tall to the name of the game. For now, make sure to check out the game on Youtube and Twitch, offering some cool footage showing what to expect when the game releases in October.
