Madden 21 Fan Appreciation Program Features 99 OVR Golden Ticket Player Reward
The Madden 21 Fan Appreciation program will return for Ultimate Team, giving gamers a shot to acquire a variety of rewards. These will be earned through completing challenges and racking up stars to get to various milestones or tiers. Rewards will include Madden Coins to boost the bank account, and even a 99 overall Golden Ticket NAT card. That’s a pretty sweet reward for just a bit of grinding. Here’s a bit more of a preview of what’s on the way.
Madden 21 Fan Appreciation preview screens arrive
EA’s Madden is showing the love back to the fans for keeping the game alive even in the offseason. As many gamers anticipate what’s next with the Madden 22 release later this year, some are still enjoying some games on the current game. With that, there’s a new program coming on Wednesday, May 19, known as Madden 21 Fan Appreciation.
The @EASports_MUT Twitter unveiled an animated GIF to show off screens from the upcoming program. Basically, gamers will select “Fan Appreciation” from the Missions Screen and are taken to an area to enter various challenges. As seen on the screens, these will be challenges brought back from earlier this season in Ultimate Team.
The GIF also shows off a portion of the Rewards tiers. At 50 Stars, gamers will earn a 91 OVR Team Builder Pack NAT (No Auction or Trade). Tier 6 gives 2,000 Coins after achieving 60 Stars. Tier 7 will bring more Coins for 70 Stars. We jump to Tier 12 which requires 120 Stars, but will give a free 99 overall 99 Golden Ticket NAT player.
Update 5/19/21: Week 1 Challenges are available with 15 challenges worth a total of 5,800 Madden Coins and 69 Stars. These include various tasks ranging from scoring a certain type of touchdown, winning a game, and other goals. So it won’t be until the Week 2 Challenges arrive that it’s possible to land that 99 OVR Golden Ticket player.
Who are the 99 OVR Golden Ticket players?
Over the past month, the various 99 overall Golden Ticket players have been revealed. These are basically cards specifically designed by gamers who played Madden 21 and earned Golden Tickets through playing certain parts of the game.
The winners were contacted and asked which 99 OVR cards they wanted for the game. Among them are stars like quarterback Tim Tebow, Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf (as strong safety), and Bucs tight end Mike Evans at cornerback.
There’s a total of 14 players with Golden Tickets in the game right now, each of whom have 99 OVRs and high-rated attributes. Below is the complete list of players, teams and positions for the Golden Ticket items.

The above cards all carry different prices at the Auction House, with DK Metcalf topping the list at nearly 600,000 Madden Coins for some platforms. Montez Sweat is next on the list at around 481K Coins, so earning one of these 99 OVR cards free may be a pretty good grind.
These aren’t the only 99 OVR cards in the game right now. There are also recent Ultimate Legends hitting that rating, including Randy Moss. There’s also that Trevor Lawrence 99 OVR card for rookie Draft Picks. Still, those may cost some serious coin rather than some time spent completing missions.
