As the latest Season of Apex Legends continues, Respawn has launched something which was first announced last month; community-created Apex Legends Twitch Drops. This new category of cosmetics features six in-game loading screens created by fan artists from the Apex Legends community.
New Community Created Apex Legends Twitch Drops
With the launch of the Apex Legends Legacy update, Respawn has implemented a new category of cosmetic; Community Created. As the name implies, this category is specifically for cosmetic items created by members of the Apex Legends fan community which have been officially put into the game by Respawn. At least for now, this category contains only six new loading screens, and each of these will be available via Twitch Drops over the course of the next two months.
Each week, Respawn will link these Community Apex Legends Twitch Drops to a different 10 Twitch streamers. The identities of these streamers will be announced on Twitter each week by Respawn. For example, this week’s 10 streamers are as follows; @Ninjayla, @jelliedcorn, @apexalelu, @iiTzTimmy, @HisandHersLive, @sweetanita, @fuinhafps, @kandyrew, @stylishnoob, and @BoomRazzle.
Each week for the next four weeks, Respawn will shift the Twitch Drops to another 10 streamers. (And each week’s Twitch Drops will also offer a different fan-made loading screen.) After that, there will be a break for a few weeks before a final two weeks at the end of July. The final week will end on the 3rd of August. The exact dates of the six weeks when each loading screen will be available are as follows:
- Loading Screen #1: 1st of June – 8th of June.
- Loading Screen #2: 8th of June – 15th of June.
- Loading Screen #3: 15th of June – 22nd of June.
- Loading Screen #4: 22nd of June – 29th of June.
- Loading Screen #5: 20th of July – 27th of July.
- Loading Screen #6: 27th of July – 3rd of August.
