With the latest Madden 21 Ultimate Legends release, gamers can add former cover star Ray Lewis as a defensive force to their lineups. The two-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Famer appeared on the cover of Madden ’05 and now returns to the current game with his best card for Ultimate Team. Lewis is the limited-availability release for packs this weekend, with the game’s 2002 cover star, Daunte Culpepper also part of the new cards.

Madden 21 Ultimate Legends Release: Lewis, Culpepper and Lynch

Another trio of legendary football stars has been added to Madden’s Ultimate Team, soon after we saw the arrival of the final Golden Tickets players. We also saw the recent release of Rookie Premiere players including No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence, amongst 10 other rookies. In addition to all those 99 OVR players, we now have three more thanks to a Madden 21 Ultimate Legends Release.

As mentioned, the two-time Super Bowl champion Ray Lewis leads the way. He’s the LTD release available in packs at the Store for just 48 hours. Lewis’ card will also be available through the Auction House beyond that. The field general MLB gets 99s for his Tackling, Play Recognition, and Power, with a 97 Block Shedding, 93 Speed, and 92 Strength.

Joining Lewis is the 2002 Madden cover athlete, quarterback Daunte Culpepper. He’s a two-time NFL All-Pro and was the passing yards leader in 2004. He’s a strong arm QB with 98 Throw Power and Deep Accuracy attributes. Also on Culpepper’s card are 97 Play Action, 97 Running, 96 Throw Under Pressure, and 90 Speed.

Last but not least is another Hall of Famer with former Super Bowl champion John Lynch. The former San Francisco 49ers All-Pro is a Zone strong safety with his new UL card. It includes 99s for Play Recognition and Power along with 98s for Power, Zone Coverage, and Pursuit. Lynch also has 95 Acceleration and 94 Speed.

Exchange sets and Challenges available in MUT mode

With this new Madden 21 Ultimate Legends Group, gamers will also have several new Challenges available in MUT mode. There’s one apiece for Daunte Culpepper and John Lynch. With these, it’s possible to earn Madden Coins and these players’ Power Up items for use in the game.

There’s also another Challenge available to compete against the Ultimate Legends squad and earn a Token. MUT players can use that Token in the Ultimate Legends set to exchange for one of the UL cards.

To get the John Lynch and Ray Lewis cards requires either discovering them randomly in packs, buying at the Madden Auction House, or putting together exchange sets.

To get their Career Edition cards gamers need one of their 97 OVR cards, four 93 OVR cards, and four 89 OVR cards. The Random Skill Edition exchange set for either player requires any two 87-88 OVR, five 85-86 OVR, and seven 83-84 OVR Legends players.
