Apex Legends Thrillseekers, the first special event for the game’s relatively new Arenas mode, is now live. Following hot on the heels of the Genesis Collection Event, Thrillseekers is a three-week event featuring a new Arenas map, weekly reward tracks, and more.
The Apex Legends Thrillseekers Event
The Apex Legends Thrillseekers event began shortly after the recent conclusion of the Genesis Collection Event. Unlike the latter event, Thrillseekers puts the focus squarely on a particular game mode; namely, Arenas. The event features the launch of Overflow, the first permanent addition to Arenas’ roster of playable maps, and the first to feature a lane-based design. You can read more about Overflow by clicking here.

Each week during Thrillseekers, which is due to end on the 3rd of August, Respawn will be offering players an event-exclusive prize track. Each of these tracks offers a range of special rewards, including cosmetic items, with players able to earn up to 1,000 points per day by completing challenges. Unlike a Collection Event, there are no special event packs or other ways to earn event cosmetics. As such, these prize tracks are the only way to get your hands on free new items.
However, if you want to get your hands on some older event-exclusive cosmetics, then you may be in luck. Alongside the Thrillseekers event, Respawn is also holding the Apex Legends Summer Splash Sale. This sale will be live in-store for the first two weeks of the event. During that time, players will be able to get discounts on a selection of cosmetics from past events. These are mostly items which haven’t been available since their respective events ended. As such, if there’s a particular item you missed in a past event, it may be worth checking the store over the next couple of weeks! The Summer Splash Sale will be ending on the 27th of July.
