Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Run at Summer Games Done Quick 2018

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel could not be excluded from this year’s Summer Games Done Quick. It was an excellent addition to some of the most significant titles on the list for such an event. And it did not disappoint us at all.

Summer Games Done Quick 2018 delivered some memorable runs last year. However, this year’s races make no exception. Among some of the most exciting titles gamers were challenged to play through as quickly as possible was Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

The event was scheduled for Friday, June 29. The streamers who took upon such a difficult task were Shockwve and Amyrlinn. They were given a total of one hour and fifty minutes to complete the game. The time was not enough whatsoever for a game for which the fastest total completion time was five whole hours.

Shockwve and Amyrlinn did not manage to complete the game during the time limit given to them. However, it is highly appropriate to mention the audience had such a great time that it did not matter. They may not have been able to complete Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, but they sure managed to entertain us.

Their run was filled with funny comments and laughable reactions. They were trolling every single glitch of the game, offering us the best laughs we ever had during an event like this. Also, their chemistry made their run very enjoyable to the point that their cooperation alone was worthwhile to watch. In the end, no one cared about the fact that they did not complete the game. No one even realized that the time was over. We were merely asking for more.

You can always check out the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel run at Summer Games Done Quick 2018 here. Other races worth watching from SGDQ’s Friday, June 29 event are the following:

  • Streets of Rage 2
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix
  • Prey
  • Super Mario Bros. 3
