New Gundam Breaker has left many players feeling that little bit hollow inside. While they weren’t promised utopia, many fans both in and outside of Japan felt as though the game’s quality just simply didn’t meet up to their standards. In fact, many just felt that the game was just a step back from previous Gundam games. Frankly, it was a heavy blow to Bandai Namco’s new game and it seems that even they realize how much they have to do in order to fix up the problems that their game has.
Currently, the game has only been released on the PS4. Meaning that not only will these new improvements fix the quality of the game on the console, but will also be added to the PC version when it is released via Steam. To take a look at these improvements for yourself, take a glance below and see what you think.
July 2018
- Improve input response and stability of operation
- Camera and lock on behavior will be adjusted and improved
- Adjust the behavior of the NPC’s third force in battle mode, and the possibility for new parts after a fight
- Adjust sorting function
- Adding new battle stage
- Change to be able to obtain the parts gathered by your team at the end of a multiplayer round
- Add other radio chat dialects to support in-game communication

August 2018
- Add variations of multiplayer mode (6 people gathering 3: 3 battles / 3 vs. CPU battle)
After July 2018
- Adjust various parameters to improve the overall experience
As you can see from above, these fixes will be released one part at a time with most of the changes occurring this month. At least this way fans of New Gundam Breaker won’t have to wait too long before they can finally play the game they’ve waited for, but in reality, is this just too little too late?
We’ll just have to wait and see.
