Madden 22 Ultimate Team TOTW 3: Justin Tucker Gets LTD Item for Record Field Goal
With the Madden Team of the Week reveal just around the corner, a special LTD item has been revealed early. It’s none other than Baltimore Ravens kicking sensation Justin Tucker. In Sunday’s NFL games, he showed once again why he’s the best in the league when it comes to booting field goals. In honor of his NFL record field goal, EA has given him a Madden 22 Ultimate Team TOTW 3 LTD card.
Justin Tucker gets Madden 22 Ultimate Team TOTW LTD card
Each week during the NFL season, EA’s Madden game unveils a Team of the Week consisting of the best player from the recent games. Among the high-rated cards so far are the Packers’ Aaron Jones, Browns’ Myles Garrett, Steelers’ Joey Porter, and Chiefs’ Priest Holmes. These players have 91 OVR or better cards with Jones and Garrett each getting 92 OVR LTD cards.
Joining them will be Ravens kicker Justin Tucker. On Monday, Popular Stranger tweeted EA’s Madden to suggest Tucker deserved a new LTD card based on his field goal from Sunday’s game. Tucker connected on an incredible 66-yard field goal to help the Ravens top the Lions in Detroit, 19-17. See the amazing highlight below:
Ask and you shall receive! The new card was revealed on Monday evening ahead of the Team of the Week release. Tucker gets a 92 overall rating along with 93 Kick Power, 92 Awareness, and 88 Kick Accuracy.
Previously, Tucker’s best card was an 87 OVR Core Elite with 86 Kick Power and 84 Kick Accuracy, so this is a decent upgrade. That card was selling for 110,000 Coins on Xbox and 119,000 Coins on PlayStation at the Auction House. Most likely, the new Tucker LTD card will be fetching quite a bit more of the Madden currency.
Who else is in the new Team of the Week 3?
After the tease of Justin Tucker, EA revealed more Madden 22 Ultimate Team TOTW 3 player items for Ultimate Team. The Player of the Week card goes to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. The Bills QB was stellar in Sunday’s 43-21 throttling of the Washington Football Team.
Allen was 32-for-43 with 358 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Add in no sacks or INTs for that matter, and he’ll get a new 91 OVR card with 93 Run, 91 Throw Power, 91 Short Accuracy, and 89 Deep Accuracy.
Joining him is the Tampa Bay Bucs’ left outside linebacker Shaquill Barrett with an LTD card. Barrett’s card is a 92 OVR with 92 Play Recognition, 93 Finesse Moves, 90 Tackling, and 88 Block Shedding.
There are also former players Ronnie Brown and Tedy Bruschi, who are the Offensive and Defensive Hero cards, respectively. Each card is a 91 overall item which goes to former players who typically excelled during the specific week in a previous NFL season.
EA reveals more Madden 22 Ultimate Team TOTW 3 cards on Tuesday morning on EA’s Good Morning Madden show on Twitch. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles play in MNF, so a few more players may get cards.
Just this past weekend, MUT also unveiled their Ultimate Team Legends Group 6 with new Boss Legends and LTD cards for two NFL greats. In addition, gamers can find other promotions available, including the previous Team of the Week Challenges and cards.
