The Fortnite Black Hole is something many players will never forget. It appeared right after “The End” event in October 2019. The entire island was sucked into the Black Hole and players are still wondering what happened to it and whether or not it will appear at some point in the future.
The entire Black Hole experience was amazing in Fortnite, yet also quite frustrating. Epic Games caused the entire blackout, disappearing from social media while servers were down. After 36 hours, the Black Hole disappeared, Epic return and players got a new chapter of Fortnite! Now, it appears that the game developer is working on bringing the Black Hole back to the game!
The Fortnite Black Hole might be opened very soon
A few months ago, there were some leaks about Chapter 3 and the Cube Queen. The leaks stated that the Cube Queen would appear in Fortnite and introduce us to the third chapter of the game. While the queen has appeared, we will have to wait and see if the rest of the leak turns out to be true.
The Cube Queen certainly has bad intentions and her “leave nothing behind” phrase is proof of that. Furthermore, the queen is found over the Convergence, the Cube town landmark that was recently formed. Her staff states that the island will soon join countless realities and she wants the world to bow down to her reign.
Donald Mustard, a Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games, had a Twitter banner that shows what looks like the Zero Point or the Black Hole. However, that’s not everything. After the v18.30 patch, the Fortnite developer updated the Black Hole in the game data. This update added the hotfix that makes the game load players directly into the Black Hole. This is exactly what happened during the 36-hour downtime after “The End” event.
Chapter 3 might come very soon
Epic Games is well known for foreshadowing events in Fortnite. The Cube Queen and everything related to her is not just a coincidence, which is why many players believe that Chapter 3 will come very soon. Popular streamer Ali “SypherPK” Hassan is one of those players and he thinks the new chapter will start after Season 8.
While Epic hasn’t confirmed anything yet, we might get a big surprise in early December. This is when the current season is ending and we will most likely get many more leaks by then. Stay tuned!
