Fortnite players are eagerly waiting for the Season 8 live event. The current season has less than three weeks until its end, which means that the live event will happen very soon. In a few seasons, live events would happen in one of the final three weeks of the season. However, Epic Games has been releasing such events on the last day in the recent seasons.
Several Fortnite leakers have released some information regarding the upcoming Season 8 live event. It turns out that Epic has already added several event-related files to the game data and we can expect more of such files soon! Let’s see what we know so far about the event.
The Season 8 live event will have multiple stages
Over the years, Fortnite live events have become longer and more complex. The last few events were interactive and players were completely immersed into them. It appears that the upcoming event will also have multiple stages and we can expect it to be amazing!
HYPEX, the most popular Fortnite leaker, has revealed that Epic Games has codenamed the upcoming event “Guava” and that it has seven different phases:
- Att
- Bea
- Bre
- Bri
- Esc
- Lob
- Swi
While it’s still too early to know what exactly these words mean, many Fortnite players have tried to decrypt them. The first phase could be about Attack while the second one could happen at the Beach. Furthermore, we might see the Lobby at some point after we Breach and Escape.
What makes the upcoming live event even more exciting is that it could be the end of Chapter 2! There are many theories and clues that Season 8 will be the last season of the current chapter, so everyone expects a big live event. “The End” event, which happened as a conclusion of Chapter 1, was arguably the most amazing event so far in the game. Is the Chapter 2-ending event going to surpass it? We will have to wait and see!
More event files could be added soon
Epic Games is releasing another Fortnite update on Tuesday, November 16. This update will finally bring the Naruto collaboration to the game, among many other things.
Considering that we are in the final weeks of the season and that this could be the last big update, it won’t be surprising if we get more event-related files and leaks!
